How PawKind began
PawKind Shelter was founded by a small group of volunteers who shared one simple goal – to help animals who had nowhere else to go. What started as foster care and street rescues has grown into a trusted shelter supporting dogs and cats through recovery, rehabilitation, and adoption.
Every animal that comes to PawKind receives medical care, daily attention, and the time they need to heal – both physically and emotionally. We focus not only on rescue, but on finding the right home for every animal.

Our mission is to protect vulnerable animals and give them a real chance at a better life. Through rescue, care, adoption, and education, we work to build a more compassionate future for animals and people alike.
PawKind Shelter is a non-profit animal shelter based in Madrid, dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and rehoming animals in need. We believe every animal deserves kindness, protection, and the opportunity to be loved.

Rescue and intake of abandoned and at-risk stray animals for rehabilitation and long support.

Adoption matching and post-adoption guidance. Thoughtful placement and support for families.
Foster and short-term home programs. Loving home for animals while they wait for adoption.
Community education and outreach. Raising awareness about responsible pet care and welfare.
